Embracing the Gap: Technology, Art, and Reimagining the Present

This interdisciplinary research examines how emerging technologies—particularly 3D printing and AI-mediated image-making—can serve as tools for reimagining contemporary reality. Through practice-based inquiry combining clay sculpture, digital reproduction, and critical theory, the project explores the creative potential within technological "gaps" and failures. Rather than pursuing perfection, it embraces glitches, poor images, and material imperfections as sites of speculative possibility, ultimately applying these methods to contested geopolitical narratives in the Middle East.
