Daisy Di Wang - curatorial project selected for the British Council’s Connections Through Culture programme

MRes alumna Daisy Di Wang's curatorial project Homing Syndrome has been selected for the British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) programme, supporting international cultural collaboration between the UK and China (see programme details here: https://www.britishcouncil.cn/en/programmes/arts/connections-through-culture-grantee-2025).

Developed in collaboration with artists and partners in London and Shanghai, the project explores pigeon racing systems as a lens to reflect on migration, borders, belonging, and the complex relationship between instinct and control. The work brings together research, installation, and public engagement to examine how movement—both human and non-human—is shaped by systems of training, surveillance, and return.

Says Daisy "It means a great deal to continue developing research-led curatorial practice in dialogue with international partners and communities. I’m deeply grateful for the intellectual environment and support I received during my time at the Royal College of Art, which continues to shape my work today."
